Supplier diversity
A women-owned cleaning vendor your procurement team can actually onboard.
Facilities Sustainment Professionals is women-owned, insured and bonded, and based in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. If your organisation reports on diverse supplier spend, facilities services is one of the easiest categories to move — and we are set up to be onboarded rather than chased for paperwork.
Why this is usually hard
Diverse spend targets are easy to set and hard to fill.
Most organisations with a supplier diversity commitment hit the same wall: the categories where diverse vendors are easiest to find are not the categories where the spend is. Facilities services is the opposite — it is recurring, it is meaningful money, and it is contracted locally.
The usual blocker is not willingness. It is that the small vendor cannot produce a certificate of insurance naming your entity, or a scope document your legal team will accept, inside your timeline.
- Recurring, reportable spend. Cleaning is contracted annually and invoiced monthly, so it counts every reporting period rather than once.
- Local to Middle Tennessee. Useful where local or small-business spend is tracked alongside diversity.
- Tier 2 friendly. If you are a general contractor or a prime reporting subcontractor diversity, we can sit under you on a project.
- Paperwork is not the bottleneck. Everything below exists already.
Vendor onboarding
What we can put in your vendor file.
Ask for all of it at once. None of it needs to be prepared — it is standing documentation, not a project.
W-9
Current, signed, and sent the same day you ask for it.
Certificate of insurance
With your entity named as additional insured, at the limits your contract requires.
Bonding documentation
We are bonded, and the paperwork goes in your file before a crew is scheduled.
A written scope of work
Line by line, by area and by frequency — so your file holds what was actually agreed, not a brochure.
References
Facilities contacts at buildings we already clean, who will take your call.
A single named contact
Stephanie Covington owns the business and answers for the work. No account-management layer between you and a decision.
Certification
Tell us what your process requires.
Some procurement processes accept self-certified women-owned status; others require a formal certification from a specific body, and which one varies by organisation and by contract. Rather than guess at yours, tell us which standard you work to and we will confirm exactly where we stand before you spend any time on it.
That is a five-minute phone call, and it saves both of us from a bid that was never going to qualify.
